Edna Mae Alexander, 69, passed away August 7, 2009 peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She was born December 20, 1939 in Monticello, KY to the late Victoria (Jones) Lowe and Claude Lewis. She was raised by Jane (Jones) Gregory.
Edna was a homemaker for many years and later entered the career of property management, traveling to many states.
Survivors include her daughter: Sandra (Richardson)(husband: Richard) Trautmann of Knightstown; grandchildren: Joshua and Diana Trautmann of Knightstown; sisters: Anna (Carrender) Gann and Wanda (Lowe) Laney; brother: Tony Lowe
She was preceded in death by her son: Tommy Alexander; brother: Bruce Jones and a sister: Barbara Lewis.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, August 13, 2009 at Elk Springs Cemetery in Monticello, KY. Memorial contributions, in her name, may be made to Hancock Regional Hospice, 1560 B State St. Greenfield, IN 46140. Envelopes will also be available at the funeral home. Local funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel.
