Ethel was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Dumas. She had been a resident there since 1950. On May 18, 1944 she married James H. Thomas in Lewisville, Ky. Survivors included her husband; one son, Jim Wayne Thomas of Oklahoma City; one daughter, Janice Ann Beckley of Guymon, OK; her mother, Elsie Webb of Amarillo, Texas; three brothers, Melvin Webb of Kerrville, Texas, J. P. Webb of San Antonio, Texas, D. G. Webb Jr. of Amarillo; two sisters, Alice Durham of Fredricksburg, Texas; Mary Lou Glasgow of Arlington, Texas.
