FORT WORTH - Joe Clevinger, 78, a retired welder for Pressure Vessels Inc., died Monday at a Fort Worth hospital.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Burial: Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington. Visitation: 7 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.

Mr. Clevinger was born in Fort Worth and was a lifelong resident. He was an Army veteran of World War II and retired in 1981.

Survivors: Wife, Mary Clevinger of Fort Worth; four sons, Joseph N. Clevinger, Mark T. Clevinger and Brian G. Clevinger, all of Fort Worth, and Anthony L. Clevinger of Chicago; daughter, Diana C. Bryant of Fort Worth; brother, Earl L. Clevinger of Fort Worth; five sisters, Nellie Newman, Della Pruitt and Maggie Echols, all of Fort Worth, Daisy Cash of Hurst and Marcella Brantley of Sweetwater; 17 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
