James C. Cabbage, a former resident of the St. Jacob- Highland area was pronounced dead on arrival at St. Joseph's Hospital in Highland at 9:15 p.m. Monday.
Mr. Cabbage was born Dec. 23, 1909 in Lewistown, Mont., son of Edward and Grace Thomason Cabbage. His father preceded him in death.
His only survivor is his mother, who is a patient at Nolen Shelter Care Home in St. Jacob.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Keystone Cemetery in St. Jacob. The Rev. Victor E. Langhorst, assistant pastor of Highland United Church of Christ, will officiate.
Friends may call at Spengel- Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland from 6 to 9 p.m. today.
