Harry Lee Rodeffer Sr., 69, of 1072 Keezletown Road, Weyers Cave, died Monday, May 13, 2002, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg.

Mr. Rodeffer was born Jan. 23, 1933, in Mount Crawford, and was the son of Mary Ethel Moran Rodeffer of Mount Crawford and the late John Lester Rodeffer.

He owned and operated H&R Truck Sales of Harrisonburg. He was a former truck driver and owner of H&R Trucking. He was also owner and operator of numerous used car lots and was an avid stock car racer. He was a member of Middlebrook Church of God.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Shirley May Campbell Robertson Rodeffer; four sons, Harry "Steve" Rodeffer Jr. of Mount Crawford, James "Jim" Rodeffer of Bridgewater, Harrison Lee Moyers of Staunton, and Keith Moyers of Harrisonburg; two daughters, Patricia "Pat" Connolly of Dayton, and Cynthia "Cindy" Grogg of Hinton; three stepchildren, Robert "Rob" Robertson of Staunton, Clinton Robertson of Craigsville, and Adam Robertson of Weyers Cave; four sisters, Mary Rhodes of Weyers Cave, Eva Pirkey of Harrisonburg, and Louetta Shull and Goldie Landis, both of Mount Crawford; 21 grandchildren; and four stepgrandchildren.

The Rev. Merle M. Dodson will conduct the funeral at 2 p.m. Friday at Middlebrook Church of God. Burial will follow at St. Paul's Cemetery in Weyers Cave.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Henry Funeral Home in Staunton. Friends may also call at the Rodeffer home.
