Donald J. Buckton , 71, of 137 Mosley Drive,Syracuse,died Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center.
A life resident of Syracuse, he was an engineer with Conrail for 22 years, retiring in 1977.He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church. He was a Marine veteran of World War II and the Korean War.
Survivors: A brother, George E. of East Syracuse; three nieces, Patricia Buckton -Guinn of Anaheim Hills, Calif., and Lori Garris and Elizabeth Buckton , both of East Syracuse; a nephew, George C. Buckton of East Syracuse.
Services: 10:15 a.m. Tuesday at Carter Funeral Home and 11 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church, 3127 James St., Syracuse. Burial, St. Mary's Cemetery, Minoa. Calling hours, 6 to 8 p.m. today at Carter Funeral Home, 1604 Grant Blvd., Syracuse.
