Thomas L Mabry was the son of Rev. Ausborn Rogers Mabry and Elizabeth Fatima York Mabry and the grandson of Mark Seth Mabry and Rhody Hargrave Mabry. Thomas was a Minister of the Gospel. He moved from Georgia to Briartown with his family in about 1871. They moved to Youngers Bend (Briartown). In about 1881, Thomas married Nancy Rebecca Bell Wilkerson. Their children were Ida b.1882, Ella b.1887, Viola b.1889 and Charles Lee b.1896. In 1899, Thomas, Nancy, Ella and Thomas` mother, Elizabeth died from spinal-menigitis. Thomas was named after his great uncle, Thomas W. Mabry who was a War of 1812 patriot.
