Henry Hartman - Momence

Visitation for Henry N. "Hank" Hartman, 90, of Momence, will be from 4-8 p.m. today at the Cotter Funeral Home, Momence, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Rev. Don Keysor will officiate.

Burial, with military rites by the Momence Honor Guard, will be in Momence Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family wishes. He died Saturday (Oct. 1, 2005) at his home.

Mr. Hartman had worked at Baker and Taylor Co. and Spieth's Market in Momence. He was born July 22, 1915, in Beecher, the son of Henry and Lena Lagacy Hartman. His wife, the former Geneva J. Dexter, whom he married Oct. 20, 1947, in Rensselaer, Ind., died June 18, 2002. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of American Legion Post 40 and VFW Post 7535 in Momence. He was a Cubs fan and enjoyed watching baseball on television.

Deceased are two sons, Clifford and Wayne; two daughters, Melody and Linda; one grandson, A.J. Hartman; one brother and three sisters.
