Emil Weber The Sheboygan Press July 19, 1948

Emil Weber, 64, passed away this morning at his home in New Holstein of a heart attack. Born in the town of New Holstein Aug. 8, 1883, the son of Ferdinand and Dora Matzen Weber, he attended the Lowell school and for a year and a half attended the Mission House College. Later he took a short agricultural course at the University of Wisconsin. For a short time he was employed as a cheesemaker and then operated a farm in the town of New Holstein until 1942 when he moved to the city. Since then he has been employed by the Meili-Blumberg Corp., in New Holstein.
He was married to Metha Buettner in the town of Schleswig, Manitowoc county, on March 16, 1908, and surviving him are his wife; a son, Gilbert; two brothers, Edward of Idaho and Milton of Great Falls, Montana; and a sister, Mrs. John Luebbe of Great Falls, Montana. A daughter, Ethel, died Oct. 29, 1923 at the age of 14.
Mr. Weber was a member of St. John's Evangelical and Reformed church of New Holstein. Funeral arrangements are pending the arrival of relatives from out of the state and full details will appear later.
