November 17, 2004 Eva Ilene Calkins, 73, of Barnes St., Phoenix, died Wednesday. Born in Phoenix, NY, to her late parents, Lewis and Cora (Letson) Halstead in 1931. Member of Belgium Cold Springs Auxiliary and Phoenix Lions Club. Predeceased by her husband Wayne I. "Corkey" Calkins in 2002. Survivors: son, Edward Calkins of Baldwinsville; daughter, Brenda Bailey of Phoenix; grandchildren, Chris Calkins, Suzette Bogett, John Calkins, Gina Bailey; great-grandchildren, Kaleb Calkins, Brandon Phelps; several nieces and nephews. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home in Phoenix, the Rev. Lauri J. Craig officiating. Burial at Chase Cemetery, Lysander. Calling hours 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today, Friday, at the funeral home, 431 Main St. (Co. Rt. 57). Donations may be made to the family.
