EVERETT J. WILLIAMS

Our kind, loving husband, son, brother, father, grandfather and friend, Everett J. Williams, age 53, returned to our Heavenly Father, September 23, 1995 at his home in Teasdale, after suffering a massive heart attack.
He was born February 4, 1942 in Teasdale, a son of Orawell Everett and Vonda Albrech Williams. He married Carolyn G. Barney, August 18, 1961 in Escalante, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple, August 21, 1971. Everett worked in the oil fields, and at the age of 29, he became a construction contractor. He also was a rancher throughout his life. He served many years as a member of the Search and Rescue Team for Wayne and Garfield Counties. He served as the Fire Marshall for Wayne County and on the Escalante City Council for several years. He spent many years as a board member on the Teasdale Water Company. Everett was an active member of the LDS Church, serving as Young Men's president, ward clerk and bishop's counselor. He spent countless hours in service to his fellowmen in the community and our world is a better place because of his love for us. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, of Teasdale; children, Kendall Jay Williams, of Bicknell; Carla Jean and Jeff Coleman, Michelle Colette and Greg Coleman, JoniLe and Nathan Richards, all of Teasdale; Elder Chad Everett Williams, serving in the Ventura, California LDS Mission; Vivian Ann Bitahy, of Phoenix, Arizona; his mother, Vonda A.
