Hertha Karolina Brubaker, 90, Defiance, died Sunday evening, May 13, 2001, in Northcrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Napoleon.
She was born August 21, 1910, in Elery, the daughter of Herman and Anna (Witte) Behrman. In 1973, she married Russell Brubaker, who died in 1981. She was a cook and waitress at Palmer House Restaruant and a meat cutter at Fruth's Locker, Bernicke's Super Value and Chief Supermarket, all in Napoleon, retiring in 1972. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Hamler.
Surviving is a sister, Norma Russell, Largo, Florida.
Also preceding her in death were a sister, Martha Lloyd; and two brothers, Martin and Harold Behrman.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2001, in Snyder-Wesche Funeral Home, Napoleon, with Rev. Douglas DeWitt officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Memory Gardens, Defiance. Visitation is from 3-9 p.m. today and one hour prior to services Wednesday.
Preferred memorials are to the church building fund or a charity of the donor's choice.
