Muhlenberg Township, she was a daughter of the late Jared and Sevilla (Wentzel) Haines and a member of Grace (Alsace) Reformed Church. Her husband preceded her in death five years.
Besides her daughter, she is survived by three sons, Edwin, Shoemakersville R. D. 1; Irwin, Sinking Spring R. D., and Howard, Hyde Park. 24 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren, a sister, Agnes Seidel, Northmont, and a brother, Daniel, Reading. Services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a. m. in the Mertz Funeral home, Laureldale, the Rev. Paul L. Rahn officiating. Burial will be in Alsace Cemetery. Reading Eagle June 17, 1953
