Roberts, Idaho - Lucille Marretta Petersen Albertson, 80, of Roberts, Idaho, died 25 Feb 1999, at her home.
She was born 2 Nov 1918, at Ucon, Idaho, to Alma Lionel Petersen and Eva Marretta Allen Petersen. She spent her growing-up years in Ucon. On 15 Jan 1936, she married Orville James Albertson in the Logan, Utah, LDS Temple. They spent the majority of their married lives in Roberts. She held employment all her life, in addition to raising eleven children.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed music, dancing and her family.
Survivors include her husband, Orville James Albertson of Roberts; seven daughters, Arlene(Farrell)Hunt of Roberts, Janice (Gordon) Tychsen of Rexburg, Idaho, Patricia (Gordon) Waters of Alpine, Utah, Cheryl (Roger) Lloyd of Mesa, Arizona, Judy (Dan) Campbell of Idaho Falls, Sandra (Jim) Diamond of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Mechelle (Jeff) Butte of Shelley, Idaho; four sons, Wesley (Elaine) Albertson, Lyle (Bernetta) Albertson, and Kort (Ann) Albertson, all of Roberts, and Rex (Diffy) Albertson of Franktown, CO; a brother, Al Petersen of San Mateo, CA; 47 grandchildren and 59 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, three brother, three stepsisters, two stepbrothers, and two grandsons.
Funeral services will be at 1:p.m. Monday at the Roberts LDS Stake Center with Bishop John Surerus officiating. The family will visit with friends at the church Sunday from 6 to 7:30 p.m., and Monday for one hour before services. Burial will be in the Grant Central Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
