He was born July 22, 1918, to August and Lena Menold Aberle. He married Wilma R. Beutel on Feb. 25, 1945, in Tremont, and she passed away Dec. 25, 2010.
Surviving are two foster daughters, Cindy (Dick) Miller and Sandra Johnson, both of Tremont; two brothers, Walter Aberle of Morton and Ernie (Frieda) Aberle of Tremont; and one sister-in-law, Helen Aberle of Lehi, Utah.
He was preceded in death by five sisters, Ann, Louise, Betsy and two infant sisters; and two brothers, Albert and Vernon.
Emil was a lifetime farmer.
He was a Tremont School bus driver for many years, influencing children's lives with his caring ways and special acts of kindness.
Precious memories of his spiritual wisdom, gentle manner and encouraging words will always remain in our hearts.
He was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church in Tremont, where his funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011. Ministers of the church will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Davis Mortuary in Tremont and from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Apostolic Christian Cemetery in Tremont.
Memorials may be made to Apostolic Christian Restmor or Apostolic Christian Timber Ridge, both in Morton.
