She was born June 15, 1891, at Vermillion, the daughter of William and Cora Bell Waller Critchfield. She was graduated from Vermillion High School and attend Hutchinson Business College.
Miss Critchfield taught school in the Vermillion community until she moved to Topeka in 1947. In Topeka she worked at the Kansas Motor Vehicle Department until she retired in 1965.
She was a member of Frist Christian Church, Topeka.
Survivors include two brothers, Donald W. Critchfield, Long Beach, Calif. and Carroll B. Critchfield, 2830 James.
Miss Critchfield was cremated. Inurnment is pending in Lancaster Cemetery, Lancaster.
