Funeral services for Clarence E. Kofoed, 77, of Meridian, Ida., who died Wed. evening, March 15, 1972, at Boise, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Meridian Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by Bishop Victor R. Barfuss. Interment will be at the Meridian Cemetery.

Mr. Kofoed was born Oct. 24, 1894, at Weston, Idaho. He married Emily R. Gassman on April 8, 1915, at the Logan LDS Temple. He farmed at Weston until 1944, when he moved to Payette, Idaho. He came to Meridian in 1967.

He was a member of the Meridian First Ward LDS Church.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, of Meridian, are four sons, Kenneth Kofoed of Caldwell, Stanley Kofoed of Marsing, DelRoy Kofoed of Meridian and Donald Kofoed of Grangeville; four daughters, Mrs. Barbara Gill of Payette, Mrs. Elaine Meyer of Boise, Mrs. Sharlene McMillin of Grangeville and Mrs. Ranae Ader of Lyons, Ore.; and a sister. A daughter preceded him in death.

Pallbearers are Larry Meyer, Mike Meyer, Pat Meyer, Dennis Gill, Alan Kofoed and Jim McMillin.

Friends may call at the Robison Chapel of the Chimes this afternoon and evening, and until service time Saturday.
