Estel E. Culver

MERIDIAN--Services for Estel Everett Culver, 74, of Parma Route 3, who died Thursday at a Boise hospital, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Robison Chapel of the Chimes.

Elder Harry Gray will officiate. Interment will be at Meridian Cemetery.

Mr. Culver was born April 26, 1897, at Burlington Junction, MO. He came to Meridian in 1907 with his parents and attended schools there. He later moved to Wilder and then to Parma. He married Gertrude Lanning on Nov. 14, 1921, at Marysville, MO. She died May 8, 1967.

He was a member of the American Legion at Parma, and a veteran of World War I.

Surviving are three sons, Clifford, Walter and Delbert Culver, all at Redding, Calif.; three stepsons, Richard Lanning and ALbert Lanning, both of Hoodsport, Wash., and Pete Lanning, Gooding; a daughter, Mrs. Bernice Clever, Nyssa; three step daughters, Mrs. Leota Moody, Gooding, Mrs. Donna Cole, Soda Springs, and Mrs. Bertha Lowry, Shoshone; two brothers, Guy and Floyd Culver, both of Parma; a sister, Mrs. Cleva Lindsay, Boise, and 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Estel Culver married Gertrude Mock Lanning on November 14, 1951.
