Meridian Farmer Succumbs in Boise

MERIDIAN--John Taylor Brotherson, 56, Meridian farmer, died Friday in a Boise hospital.

He was born in Moroni, Utah, Oct. 2, 1894, and was married to Iva Crawforth June 7, 1916. They moved to Rupert, Idaho, in 1917, and then to Meridian in 1927. He was a member of the LDS church.

Survivors include his wife of Meridian; one son, Ardell, also of Meridian; four daughters, Mrs. Anna Lane, Royal Oak, Mich.; Mrs. Lois Johnson, Mrs. Betty Bishop and Mrs. Willa Tuttle, all of Boise; three brothers, Darwin Brotherson, Bonita, Utah, Con of Mount Pleasant, Utah, and Lafe of Spring City, Utah; two sisters, Mrs. Candace Mickelsen, Rexburg, and Mrs. Mary Sawsey, Bonita and seven grandchildren.

Robison chapel of Meridian will be in charge of services.
