Parents were William Lewis Glenn and Barbara Catherine Mears. Married 1) to Raymond Lavon Baggett. She came to Tulare in 1943 and worked at Rankin Field during WWII. She and her husband, Raymond Baggett, operated a restaurant in Tulare for several years. In 1962, they moved to Fortuna, where they continued to own a motel and restaurant. After Raymond died in 1963, she Married Nels Carter. They were married for 29 years. In 1994 she moved to Modesto to be near her brother, Robert, and his family. Burial was May 13, 2002.
