The son of Jonathan & Mary (Easton) Butler, he was baptized on March 8, 1712-3 at the Second Church of Hartford. He married Sarah Bull on Oct. 10, 1759 and died at age 54 yr. in Hartford.

2. William bpt. June 5, 1763
3. Henry bpt. Jan. 20, 1765
4. Sarah bpt. July 19, 1766, d. Sept. 19, 1766, buried in the Center Church Graveyard.
5. Daniel bpt. March 27, 1768, m. Mary Keith Nov. 14, 1798 at the Middleton Christ Church.
