Right before her death she wrote a note to her son Charles to record her death date in the family record. Says- Please record my name here by my husband, dear to me. Her remains were brought to Hastings to be laid to rest beside his gravesite. She was 83 yrs old and was born in the farmhouse by the old Dundee shaft in Hanover Township. She was the last of nine children.
