After a lengthy illness, Mr. Bolton died Sunday evening at a hospital in Wadsworth. He was 79 years old. A native of North Berwick, Scotland, he had been a resident here the past 64 years. His home was at 720 North 22nd Street.
He was the son of Alexander and Margaret Neill Bolton.
Mr. Bolton was an army veteran of World War I. He had worked for the Standard Oil Co. office here before retiring. His membership was in Westminster Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Marguerite Bolton; a sister, Mrs. Milton S. Weber, Santa Ana, Cal.; one niece and three nephews.
