Three Penrod Sons In Service The three sons of Mrs. Sadie Penrod are now serving overseas, Virl, 33, seaman first class, on the U. S. S. 'Cabot", an airplane carrier, "somewhere" in the south Pacific:

Pvt. Arthur Penrod, 32, of the infantry, who has Just recently arrived in France: and David Penrod, 22. seaman second second class, who is also serving "somewhere" in the south Pacific, on a repair boat.

Seaman Virl Penrod entered the service a year ago and has been overseas since July 15. His wife. La Verda Roundy Penrod, and two sons, Cleve and Garth, reside in Provo.

Pvt. Arthur Penrod entered the service in March, and his Wife, the former Velma Denhalter. J and their children, Mary Ellen and Byron, reside at 958 West Second South street.

The youngest of the Penrods, Seaman David, has been in the navy since December 1942 and has had service overseas for 13 months.

Recently, David and Virl arranged a meeting in the Pacific, on learning that their respective ships were in close quarters. They managed to be together for an hour an hour they won't forget in a long time.

They hadn't seen each other for a year and a half.
