Hazel (Wyant) Cross

Services for Hazel (Wyant) Cross, 80, of Mentor, will be 10 a.m. Monday at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Ave., Painesville.

Mrs. Cross died June 1, 2001, at LakeWest Hospital in Willoughby.

Born April 20, 1921, in Cleveland, she lived in Leroy before moving to Mentor two years ago.

She was an avid bingo player and antique collector.

Mrs. Cross was employed for 10 years in the Coning Dept. of IRC Fibers in Painesville.

Survivors are her sons, Daniel (Joyce) Cross of Painesville, James (Angie) Cross of Madison, Robert (Lillie) Cross of Painesville and Richard Mallory of Columbus; daughter, Gloria (Paul) Bodak of Mentor; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren;

Her husband, Francis Cross, died in 1994. Her son, David; and brother, Walter Wyant, are also deceased.

Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The Rev. Gerald D. Kalb of Painesville United Methodist Church will officiate at services. Burial will be in Williams Cemetery in Leroy Township.
