Word was received here this morning, that Mrs. Eli Collette of Superior died last night. Mrs. Collette was a sister to the late Mrs. Peter Betournay.

OBITUARY
COLLETTE - Died, November 20, 1913, at the family residence in this city, Louise, wife of Eli Collette, aged 58 years and five months. Buried in Evergreen cemetery (sic), Saturday, November 22, 1913.
Louise Beauregard was born in Iroquois Will county (sic), Illinois, in 1855, where she spent her childhood days. In 1875 she was married to Eli Collette at Clifton, Illinois, to which union thirteen children were born, seven of whom survive the deceased. From Illinois the family. moved to Concordia, Kansas, in an early day, where her husband engaged in the grocery business, later coming to Superior where for thirteen years they lived, while Mr. Collette followed the same pursuit. From Superior the family removed to Bladen and Palmer, Nebr., land then back to Superior where the residence has been the past five years.
Surviving the deceased is her husband, six daughters and one son, viz: Mrs. Rufus Lee of Clardina, Iowa; Mrs. Fred Pfleiderer, Jr., this city; Mrs. Jack McHugh, this city; Mrs. T. E. Clark, Wayne, Nebr.; Mrs. C. B. Atwater and Laura and Rufus Collette.
The funeral occurred this morning, at 9:00 o'clock at the Catholic church of which she was a loyal member. Messrs. D. W. Horton, M. A. Sullivan, John Sullivan, Jos. Benjamin, John Frey and Andrew Frey acted as pall bearers, and the procession went from the residence, to the church where Rev. Father Fitzgerald conducted the services. The Requiem High Mass was sung by Mesdames Kesterson, E. J. Hall, Wm. Duwe and D. W. Horton, and Messrs.
Wm. Deines and E. J. Hall.
A large number of relatives and friends followed the remains to the cemetery for interment.
Mrs. Collette has been a patient sufferer, and her last words were: "I'm following the One I'm working for."
The bereaved relatives have the sympathy of the entire community in the loss of their loved one, and while they are grief stricken, they have assurance and comfort in the knowledge of the many deeds of loving kindness performed by the one that is gone.
