She attended Old Piney Grove Baptist Church and retired from Blount Memorial Hospital.
Preceded in death by: Husband, Walter Max Everett; Son, David; Son-in-law David Sherwood; Father, Will Potter; Mother, Ida Potter; Brothers, Steve, Elmer, Hubert, Jack, Raymond, and Lawrence; Sisters, Bernice Garner, Ann Walker, and Elizabeth Bruno.
Survivors include: Daughter, Jama Sherwood; Grandson, Josh Sherwood; Great-Granddaughter, Paisley Sherwood; Sisters, Erma Sue Burchfield and Frances Price & husband Leonard.
Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Smith West Chapel. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM with Rev. Rex Everett officiating.
