They removed to Jefferson Twp, Iowa when it was still a territory. Their 2nd child, Wesley Madison, was born there in 1839.
By the time that the 1856 Iowa State Census was taken, Thomas & family were living in Grove Twp, Davis Co., IA.
They had at least 12 children from Indiana to Iowa. Most of which remained in/nr Iowa.
Thomas & Mary remained nr Milton all of their lives, and both were buried in the RICHLAND CEMETERY.
