I left this earthly life to rejoin my beloved husband, George, and our parents.

I was born in Provo, Utah, May 6, 1922, to Izetta Halladay and Marion Russell Holdaway. In my teens our family moved to Salt Lake City where I spent the remainder of my life. I married Russell D. Bossard October, 1940; later divorced. On May 9, 1960, I Married my eternal companion, Hosea Oliver (George) Sorenson. We solemnized our love and commitment in the Jordan River Temple July 1, 1982. In 1977, I retried from Mountain Bell after 25 years of service which allowed more time with family and church activities.

I enjoyed 36 years in the Taylorsville Gardens wards and will miss all those special friends and neighbors. I will deeply miss the family I leave behind including my brother, David Holdaway and sister-in-law, Shirley; sons and daughters, Larry D. (Barbara) Sorenson, Texas; Shauna Sorenson (Dean) Campbell, Canada; Judy Bossard (Gerald) Lord, Linda Bossard (Ray) Furbush, Susan Sorenson Tanner, all olf Salt Lake City. Jayne Sorenson (Jim) Flint, and MaryEllen Sorenson Nay, both of California; our dear 36 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
