daughter of Henry E (Hury) Stinnettt and his 1st wife Rachel Moss- Lakey
birth year may be wrong on stone:
Explanation for difference of birth year, as shown in my record and her grave marker.
Her birth date in my records is taken from the Thomas D. Rollans, Family Bible, which more accurately matches her age given in the various census surveys. Her death date is recorded in the Bible and in her obituary.
I believe the death year shown on her grave marker is wrong, an error caused by subtracting her age as given in her obituary (67) from the year she died (1933) would have her born in 1866.
OBITUARY: The Dardanelle Post-Dispatch, June 15, 1933
Mrs. T.D. Rollans, aged 67 years, died at her home at Delaware Wednesday, June 7th. Burial was in Graves Cemetery Thursday morning, Rev. George W. Patterson, of Russellville, officiating. The funeral was in charge of S.A. Masters & Co., of this city. Mrs. Rollans is survived by her husband, several children and a number of grandchildren, all of whom have our deepest sympathy in their great loss.
