OBITUARY Saginaw News April 23 1972 "Chisholm, Edwin B. 1825 Avon Street"
Passed away suddenly Saturday evening April 22, 1972. Age 49 years. He was born June 7, 1922 in Saginaw and had lived here all his life, serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He had been employed by Consumers Power Co. for 25 years. Mr. Chisholm was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. He was married to Eileen Ferguson in 1944; she survives him. Surviving besides his wife, he leaves one daughter and one son, Mrs. Janice Drake and Lawrence Chisholm of Saginaw; one grandson, Jeffrey Drake. He also leaves his father, Hugh S. Chisholm of Saginaw and also four sisters and one brother; Mrs. John Marti, Mrs. Paul Schwarck and Dwight Chisholm, all of Saginaw; Mrs. George Hammell of Marshall, Mich. and Mrs. Thomas Safford of Rapid River, Mich. Funeral services will take place 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Case Chapel, 409 Adams St., Rev. Bruce Peterson will officiate. Friends may call at the chapel from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. Those who so desire may make memorials to the Memorial Fund of the First Church of the Nazarene.
Husband of Eileen Lucille Ferguson Chisholm. Father of Janice Lynne Chisholm Schmidt & Lawrence Edwin Chisholm.
Died of heart attack.
