Husband of Caroline Rosetta Scott, they were married on October 26, 1899 in Screven County, Georgia.

Father of ten children, grandfather of 36: Bertie Mae Bland Mangum (1902-1994); Remer Loyd Bland (1905-1991); Lilla Josephine Bland Long (1908-1998); William Alford Bland (1909-1991) ; Leon Bland (1911-1983); Zelma Bland Roberson(1913-1997); Medda Olivia Bland Dowdy (1914-1994); Lillian Bland Lewis Bruce (1916-2007); Leila Bland McLeod(1919-2005); Remer Bland(1921-1997).

Son of Ivy Bland and Louisa Woodrum.
Remer Logan and Carrie Scott Bland were not the parents of an infant who died at birth. This baby is the first son of R. L. Bland and Ezzie not Remer Logan but Remer Loyd Bland. This was explained to Dorothy Gilder who does not know the family. She posted this and much more on our family that is incorrect. Just because an infant is buried near his grandparents does not make him their son. They had ten children who all grew to maturity. My father was the youngest. Another infant buried near them is the son of Bertie and Curtis Mangum, another grandchild of Remer Logan and Carrie.
