Alma- A retired farmer and carpenter, Arza Sylvester Andrews, 84, of 514 South Grover,Alma died at the Gratiot Community Hospital on April 7, 1971. He was born on May 24, 1886, the son of George W. and Adella Rosecrons Andrews in Elm Hall.
On Dec 25, 1906, he married Elizabeth K. Ingersoll, who died on Sept 5, 1962. In Alma on Dec 21, 1966, he married Alta Beard, who survives him.
Mr Andrews was a member of the Alma Church of God.
Surviving are the daughters Mrs Dessa Heinrich of Lakeview,Mrs Naoma Apple and Mrs Irene Brown of Warren and Mrs Elaine Rockafellow of Alma; one son, George of winn; a step-son, Kenneth Beard of Mayville; 8 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs Walter Hastings and Mrs Ray Whiting of Bradenton, Fla. Rev. George Bush will conduct services at 2 p.m. on April 10th at the Alma Church of God.
Burial will be in the Elm Hall Cemetery. Friends may call at the Moody-Wolfel funeral home in Alma.
