Born on May 9, 1915, he was the son of Harley & Goldie (Hayes) Boruff.
Paul was a retired Stone Mill worker. He is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Phyllis and Gene Hollers of Springville, Sandra and Mike Tarter of Bloomington, and daughter Cheryl Boruff of Unionville. Two grandsons, Tom Boruff of Spencer and Joe Tarter of Bloomington. Four granddaughters, Pamela Holt, Tamara Hollers, Terri Axsom and Paula Escue, all of Bloomington. Eight great-grandchildren, Michael, Ashley, Jake, Nikki, Tobe, Jasmine, Nicolas and Daniel. Three great-great-grandchildren, Nolan, Daniel and Allison. One sister, Ruth Quillen of Bloomington, and two brothers, Burl Boruff and Virgil Boruff of Bloomington.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois M. (Barrow) Boruff of 67 years in 2002. His only son Lloyd Boruff on March 21, 2009. His parents and three brothers, Lester Boruff, Wilfred Boruff and Edward Boruff, all of Bloomington.
Service will be held at Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene & Harrell Chapel at 1 p.m. on Thursday, August 20, 2009. Following the services there will be a Chapel service at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
