She met her husband, Harry Rothenberg in New York in 1949 and they married in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on February 12, 1950. Together they raised three children. She began a career in real estate in 1970 in Watertown, NY and became a real estate agent and broker.
After her husband of 29 years passed away in 1979 she moved to Atlanta, GA, later purchasing a home in Dunwoody, Ga where she resided until her illness.
She was a successful real estate agent for Harry Norman Realtors in Dunwoody. She received her Phoenix Award in 1977 and worked alongside her daughter, Debra for 22 years.
She leaves behind three children and two granddaughters.
She died at Hospice Atlanta. Funeral services were held Sunday, August 16, 2009.
