Born Dec. 6, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Will and Laura Page Dixon. She was the widow of Maynard Hamrick, a homemaker and a member of the Non-denominational Church.
Mrs. Hamrick is survived by four sons, Hershel Hamrick and his wife, Carolyn, of Belmont, Noris Hamrick of Shelby, Dale Hamrick of Pittsburg, Calif., and Larry Hamrick of Shelby; two daughters, Carolyn Greene and her husband, Bob, and Doris Dedmon and her husband, Charles, all of Shelby; a sister, Ruth Glover of Shelby; 13 grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren, four great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, a son, Charles Ray Hamrick; two brothers, Edgar Dixon and Willard Dixon; and two sisters, Maudie Mellon and Nettie Mellon preceded her in death.
