Vance, March 21 - On Wednesday afternoon, after an illness of two weeks, Mrs. F. H. Irick died at her home near Vance. She was buried at Corinth Baptist church, the funeral services being conducted by her pastor, the Rev. B. J. Woodward, assisted by the Rev. Ben Allen of Elloree. Mrs. Irick's death was a shock to her family and friends as she was supposed to be convalescing and the change for the worse was very sudden, coming just the night before her death. Mrs. Irick was formerly Miss Fannie Hart. In 1902 she married F. H. Irick of Elloree. They lived in Parler until the past three years when they came to Vance. Besides her husband and five children, Mrs. Irick leaves her mother, three brothers and five sisters. For years she had been a faithful member of Corinth Baptist church, a loving wife, devoted mother and sincere friend.
