Visitation for Norman Chester Wright, 81, of Eloy, was held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Valley Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral there was held at noon today, with the Rev. Harvey Williamson officiating. Burial was in Eloy Memorial Park.

Mr. Wright was bom Aug. 15, 1915 in Lordsburg, New Mexico, and died Feb. 21, 1997 in Eloy. An Army veteran and Arizona resident for 50 years, he was a self-employed barber.

He is survived by his wife, Lois; a daughter, Betty Chicky, of California; two sons, Phillip Wright and Dale Canamore, both of Eloy; a sister, Aubry M. Parsons, of Silver City, New Mexico; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Ruth Sylvester.
