He was born in Stoneham, October 21, 1956 son of the late Hollis and Elizabeth (Mazzarella) Blauvelt and was a longtime resident of Medford before moving to Billerica 10 years ago.
Jim was employed by the Bedford DPW for many years, most recently worked in the maintenance dept of the Holliday Inn in Tewksbury, was a skilled carpenter and had the ability fix almost anything. He always had the answers. He was a wonderful husband, father grandpa, uncle, cousin and friend. He will be truly missed by everyone who knew him, but especially by his wife, children and grandchildren who were everything to him.
Besides his wife Susan, he is survived by his son, James M. Blauvelt II and his fiancée Raianna Sweeney; his two beautiful daughters Michelle Pantollana and her husband Mike of Lowell and Nicole Bova and her husband John Jr. of Billerica; one brother Hollis "Skippy" Blauvelt of Medford. Also survived by his 9 wonderful grandchildren.
Jim, you touched many people in your lifetime and they will always remember you. You will always and forever be in our hearts.
