RANDOLPH - Alice Joan Borgstrom, 69, died April 16, 2001, at the Gifford Medical Center in Randolph.
She was born in Jersey City, N.J., June 13, 1931, the daughter of John J. and Marguerite (Cornell) Foran.
She attended schools in New Jersey and the Community College of Vermont in St. Johnsbury.
She moved to West Barnet in 1972 and to Randolph in 1997.
On April 24, 1949, she married Herbert Thor Borgstrom in Union City, N.J. He died in 1989.
Mrs. Borgstrom was a homemaker
She enjoyed knitting, sewing and reading.
She was a member of the West Barnet Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include four sons, Eric Borgstrom of Lexington, Ky., Kurt Borgstrom of St. Johnsbury, Tor Borgstrom of Bristol and Keith Borgstrom of Lyme, N.H.; two daughters, Marta Borgstrom of Randolph and Kirste Hayes of Enosburg Falls; and 12 grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held in the Vermont Memorial Cemetery in Randolph Center at the convenience of the family.
There will be no calling hours.
