John N. Buckman was my 3rd great grandfather. He was first married to Susanna Pierceall on 01-28-1816 at Holy Mary Calvary Church in Washington CO., KY. They had 4 sons Francis, Richard, Clement Evermon and James John "Cook". Francis and Richard are also buried in Sacred Heart Cemetery. After Susanna died he married my 3rd great grandmother Caroline Ann Shanks. Caroline was the daughter of Thomas Jefferson Shanks and Sarah Woodherd.Caroline is also buried in Sacred Heart Cemetery. John and Caroline had 4 children. John Ignatius, Francis Marion, Harriett Amanda who was my 2nd great grandmother, and Joseph Kendrick.
