Even though Jeremiah's gravestone says he was born in 1832, his obituary says that he was born on September 26, 1839. The 1839 date would tally with Rose (Cochran) Shilt's Family Tree Data, which states that Jeremiah's parents were married in 1838 and the next child was George, who was born in 1842.
