Evelyn Mae O'leary, 94, formerly of La Salle, died at 1:25 p.m. Dec 9, 2007 in Ottawa Pavillion
Nursing Home. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in St Patrick Church, La Salle.
Monsignor Dale Wellman will officiate. Burial will be at St Columba Cemetary Ottawa.
Visitation will be 9:30-11 a.m. Thursday in Hurst Funeral Home, La Salle.
Mrs O'Leary was born April 5, 1913 in Ottawa to Henry and Darlene (Zenor) Bonges.
She graduated from St Xavier High School (now Marquette) in Ottawa. She married John E
O'Leary on Nov 7, 1935. She and her husband owned and operated O'Leary Gift Shop in
La Salle for more than 50 years. She was a menber of St Patrick Church and Deer Park Country Club for more than 50 years. Survivors include one sister, Bernice Pugh of Shabbona; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceeded in death by her husband on Aug 16, 1988;
four sisters and one brother. Memorials may be directed to St Patrick Church in La Salle or
Marquette High School in Ottawa.
