Born Oct. 27, 1939, in Rogers, he was the son of Dennis LeRoy and Lula Porter LeRoy.
He was married in 1962 and worked for the city of Siloam Springs as a mechanic.
He was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth LeRoy.
Survivors include his wife, Glenda Blair LeRoy of Siloam Springs; a son, Melvin E. LeRoy Jr. of Gentry; two brothers, Eddie Joe LeRoy of Siloam Springs and James Edward LeRoy of Rogers; two sisters, Alta LeRoy of Rogers and Sharon Gatewood of Siloam Springs; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, with the Rev. Tom Estes officiating. Burial will follow at the Gentry Cemetery.
