Niles, Feb. 4--Mrs. George F. Hoppin, pioneer resident of Niles and mother of Mrs. Charles E. White, wife of the Berrien county circuit court judge, died last night at her home in this city. Mrs. Hoppin was 91 years old.
Mrs. Hoppin, one of the early residents of Niles, was a member for 63 years of the Presbyterian church here. She was the oldest member of the congregation in years and in point of membership.
The deceased is survived by her daughter, Mrs. White; two sons, George S., banker, and John of Detroit, and another daughter, Mrs. G. C. Main of Battle Creek.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the home and at 3 o'clock at the Presbyterian church, the Rev. G. W. Simon, pastor of the church, officiating.
Burial will be in the Silver Brook cemetery.
