Born in Union County, a son of the late Ed and Maude Yarborough Millwood, he was presently employed as a custodian with Carolina High School, a member of Berea Heights Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Marines during World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Clara Phillips Millwood; a daughter, Mrs. Janice M. English of Greenville; a son, F. Bryant Millwood of Greenville; six sisters, Mrs. Lois M. Stevenson of Seneca, Mrs. Josie M. Christopher and Mrs. Marie M. Tapp of Greer, Mrs. Ollie M. Bagwell of Pelzer, Mrs. Blanche M. Townsend and Mrs. Clara M. Hayes of Los Angeles, Calif.; a brother, Jake Millwood of Piedmont; eight grandchildren and one great-grandson.
