She was born July 21, 1924, at Eureka, the daughter of George W. Elliott and wife Eliza
E., nee Woodcock.
Mrs. Bedwell was baptized into the Baptist faith in August, 1973.
On August 20, 1954, she was united in marriage to Euell Bedwell at Eureka.
Mrs. Bedwell was employed as a cook at the Chrysler Corporation for 17 years before
retiring.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Euell Bedwell; four brothers,
George, Wilson, Purching, and Thomas Elliott; and two sisters, Edith Schneider and
Hazel Scott.
Mrs. Bedwell is survived by two sons, John Fitzgerald Bedwell, Catawissa, and George
Bedwell and wife Peggy, Robertsville; six grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; nieces;
nephews; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Thursday, November 29, at Nieburg-Vitt, Thiebes Chapel,
Pacific, with Rev. Earlwood Towne officiating.
Interment was in Sunset Cemetery, Pacific.
Memorials to the Bedwell family are preferred.
