Mrs. Martha Elizabeth Walthall aged 82 years, died today at 1 o'clock at her late residence, 128 West Mistletoe avenue, after a lingering illness. In April she suffered from an attack of pneumonia and has been in feeble health ever since. Mrs. Walthall was the wife of the late Judge L. N. Walthall, and was born in Perry county, Alabama. In 1881 Judge and Mrs. Walthall, with their family, removed to San Antonio, where she has resided ever since. She is survived by four children, T. J. Walthall, L. N. Walthall, Miss Sallie Walthall and Miss Permelia Walthall, and by 13 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
The funeral will be held from the family residence at 9 o'clock and 9:30 from St. Mary's church. Interment will be held in St. Mary's Catholic cemetery.
