Clara M. Atchley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Ivey was born May 10, 1907 in Laclede County and passed away Tuesday evening, May 25, 2004 at the home of her daughter, Ima.
She married Paul Atchley on April 15, 1920. They had three children. He died Jan. 11, 1964.
She was also preceded by her parents, four brothers, Paul, Clyde, Guy and Harry Ivey, and two half-brothers.
She was a homemaker and a member of Phillipsburg Christian Church.
Services for Clara Atchley will be held at 10:30am Saturday May 20, 2004, at Colonial Chapel with Roger Tribble and Don Renken officiating.
Burial will be in the Atchley Family Cemetery under the direction of Thieme-Shadel-Hicks Funeral Service at Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
Memorials have been established to Gideons or Community Hospice.
Survivors are two sons, James Floyd of Lebanon and Herbert L. of Johnson City, TN; one daughter, Ima Jean Jones of Lebanon; 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 29 great-great-granchildren.
