Ed Skipper, 75, a native of Alabama and a Madera resident for 33 years, died Thursday in a local hospital of a long illness.
He is survived by his widow, Gertrude of Madera, five sons, Edward, Dalton, Moris, and Buel all of Madera and Ithel of Gainsboro, Tenn.; one daghter, Mrs. Persia Harbison of Madera; one sister, Mrs. Minnie Bailey of Polasky, Tenn., 17 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Jay Chapel with burial to follow in the Arbor Vitae Cemetery.
